This past week Blood Oath and hundreds of tattoo artists and thousands of tattoo enthusiasts descended into Cleveland, Ohio for it’s annual Tattoo Convention. It was a blast, let’s just start of there. Like the rest of the US, we spent the past year in lockdown – no conventions, so crowds. So now that it’s coming back it feels all that much sweeter. I hope we never take this for granted!
This convention wasn’t just a hug-fest, however – it was a chance to get back to work and did we ever. Blood Oath didn’t have an official booth at the convention but we were rep’d throughout the show floor as we saw artist after artist using the same equipment and supplies that we carry in our own shop (shop tattoo equipment).
From our favorite brand of 7th Generation Paper towels, to Kingpin Machine Cords – pretty much every booth had a little of what we carry within its borders. Cheyenne even had its own booth there and we were happy to shake hands with them and let them know how much we enjoy their products, not to mention carry them in our own shop.
And while we try to stay as humble as possible we are tattoo artists as well and we were privileged to win a couple of the daily awards as well as get a few other nominations along the way. We only mention of this because of our motto: We practice what we preach – in our case that means we use the same equipment that we sell here at Blood Oath. If it’s good enough to win a few awards along the way then we’re sure it’s good enough for your shop.
